Every bar is hashed with SHA-256 and posted publicly before its event. Paste the bar text below: your browser normalizes it and computes the digest locally, then checks it against every bar on this ledger. Nothing is uploaded — the page makes no network request.

Normalization

Before hashing, text is normalized exactly as the publisher normalizes it (canonical text version 2): Unicode NFKC, then a fixed replacement table (smart quotes, dashes and the minus sign, non-breaking spaces, ligatures, superscript digits), then whitespace runs collapsed to single spaces with paragraph breaks kept. That is what makes a copy-paste through a mail client still verify.
